Rare Silver Ethrog Box, Felix Horovitz, Frankfurt Am Main, Germany, Ca 1905, Judaica.
The oval box is set on four ball shape supports, made with a fluted body and engraved with Stars of David and three of the four varieties (the four kinds / Arba’at Haminim) – myrtle, willow and palm branch on both ends, the hinged lid is topped with the fourth variety – the Ethrog as a sculptured finial.
Marked with German silver marks (800, half moond and crown) and maker’s mark for Felix Horovitz (see pictures).
