Extremely Rare Signed Condolence Letter By The Late First Israeli PM David Ben-Gurion, NY, 1942

Dated 8.7.42, The letter was written in Yiddish by late Israel Prime Minister David Ben Gurion to the widow of Samuel Siegel, Rachel.
It was written on stationary of the Winthrop hotel, in Lexington Avenue, New York and accompanied by the original Winthrop hotel envelope in which the letter was sent while in the “From” field are the initials “D.B.G” for David Ben Gurion.
Samuel Siegel was a prominent Zionist activist in America, one of the founders of the Poalei Zion party in America and a member of its central board.
In addition there’s a comfort telegram sent by a person called Hamlin to comfort the widow for the loss of her husband.
It is also accompanied by Samuel Siegel’s certificate of naturalization as well as newspaper clips regarding his death.
